Node Home // Physical Structure

Euro Birch Plywood connectors, LVL struts, various surface treatments, and two interior (home scale) pods

There is a 2 x 3 unit prototype fully assembled in the  Studio in Lincoln Heights.

With an 8’-0” vertical, 8’-0” horizontal grid, the home is a 20% smaller assembly than the Temple Structure system and introduces a predominantly cubic grid suited to residential applications. Employing an exposed structure with slotted in surface panels, this easy to assemble, eminently portable structure distinguishes itself from the majority. The system was introduced in 2018 with four installations, the Alter of Earth and Nohm Bar at the Lucidity Festival, and the BWB Advanced Outpost and the Camp YOUniversal Tea Room at Burning Man. A dedicated roof structure is the prime addition to the 2018 efforts an allows the NODE Home to be a true “shelter from the storm” for however long it is deployed.

Required items:

A level pad and an assembly crew are required for installation. Also, show familiarity with the systems or pay a personal visit to review the physical Node Home prototype in LA. Shipping costs are additional. Assembly supervision is provided once locally, additional cost to be arranged for other locations. Mechanical systems and appliances not included.

The NODE Home comes with an Architect‘s Approval Stamp. It is up to you to provide any additional certification necessary for you to proceed.

The NODE Home//Physical Structure materials provided are for  a 2 x 3 unit (6 module) structure. The image above left is of a 3 x 4 unit (12 module) plan. To build the 3 x 4 unit plan above you would need to purchase two of the Node Home//Physical Structure packages, and so on.  Upon any design changes a secondary plan review is necessary for the Architect’s Stamp if the proposed plan is satisfactory.

The price listed for the Node Home//Physical Structure is a minimum (at cost), but you can pay more, all the way up to Benefactor level ($10,000,000) if possible, to further support the research and humanitarian outreach.

Please tell me your intentions for these plans and what qualifications you have. Describe your familiarity with the system or pay a personal visit to review the physical NODE Home prototype in LA.

You assume all risk and liability for the use of this structure and forever hold harmless the Gregg Fleishman Studio and it’s personnel from any and all claims arising from such use.
