Sky Portal X is a fascinating exploration of the link between our earthly surroundings and the celestial world. This art project makes use of geography and geometry to create a bridge between the terrestrial and celestial realms. Essentially, it delves into the deep connection that exists between the Earth, as it echoes the living systems of cell structures and the sky using physical manifestations to represent this bond.

This new exploration of sacred forms provides a unique perspective on how the universe is interconnected by encouraging viewers to think about their place in the universe and the relationship between our natural world and the cosmos.

Sky Portal X was born in late 2022 with the introduction of a simplified connection. Stop with the snap fit stuff already, just connect, connect, baby. This was accomplished by using a simple slot to slot between panel corners and locking them together with a pin thru a crossing slot. For joint integrity a necessity was that panel planes intersect with each other at 90 degrees and again we find this in the cubic family of polyhedra, the building blocks of “Infinite Architecture”, bridging the space between the Earth and the Sky. The Sky Portal X family has grown rapidly and now consists of many different forms, from single portals to infinite assemblies.
